Quick, secure method for students, parents to send documents

Barton County Community College uses MappingXpress to streamline their documentation collection process. This past spring, Barton County Community College incorporated MappingXpress and students and parents have used MappingXpress to upload more than 925 documents.
“We like MappingXpress because it provides a secure way for students/families to upload information and gives them a confirmation that we have received their information. This is much preferable than faxing or emailing documents,” said Myrna Perkins, assistant dean of student services, director of financial aid for Barton County Community College. “In addition, the FAO staff can easily index the electronic documents to our SIS, saving time. We are promoting to our students if they use MappningXpress to submit their documents and upload by 3:00 pm CT, we will post the documents to their accounts by the next day.”
MappingXpress is a secure process that allows students to easily and quickly respond to documentation request by uploading an electronic file of the requested documents. School financial aid offices or business professionals can retrieve the documents securely from their Access Area on Mapping Your Future.

Secure for students and schools
The information users provide is encrypted prior to transfer. Data is stored in a secured database and is administered with routine backup procedures. Documents are available for download by school officials immediately and stored only for a limited time to further protect the student information.
