The Michigan Guaranty Agency (MGA) is a component of the Michigan Finance Authority (MFA). As the state-designated guarantor for Michigan, MGA administers Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) loan guarantees in compliance with federal laws, rules, and regulations to protect its financial interest.
