Celebrating school counselors today more than ever

School counselors have always been deserving of our thanks, but perhaps even more so this year. The pandemic has created even more challenges in the last year with virtual learning, standardized test scheduling, quarantines. . .to name a few.
National School Counseling Week 2021 is Feb. 1-5. The week, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), highlights the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. schools and the tremendous impact they can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
With its mission to help students lead successful lives, Mapping Your Future supports counselors through a number of free online resources, including our scholarship and FAFSA webinars, Guide to Life After High School and other college planning materials. We also encourage counselors to contact us if there are information and other resources they would like to see on Mapping Your Future.
Although it can't be said enough, we will say it as much as we can. Thank you, counselors, for all the work you do to help students succeed.
