Maybe you just need a refresher course or maybe you are new to financial aid.

In either case, you should be able to find what you need for the new year in the FSA Training Center when the Department of Education updates the site with the 2022-23 content.

According to a July 27 Dear Colleague Letter (DCL), the Department announced the Learning Tracks available in the FSA Training Center will be updated with 2022-23 content on August 1, 2022.

According to the Department, Learning Tracks offer short, focused courses on single-item subjects in categories such as Grants, Loans, and Student Withdrawals. For 2022-23, there are eight categories offering 30 different “tracks.”

The Department also announced the FSA Basic Training for New Staff training course will be updated with 2022-23 content on August 1. In the announcement, the Department said this asynchronous, online course is designed for newly hired, entry-level financial aid administrators (FAAs), as well as school officials from outside the financial aid office who want to learn how to administer the federal student aid programs.
