Application Processing Guide |
||||||||||||||||
With the beginning for the school year behind us, it's time now to stretch your muscles, take a few deep breaths, and crack your knuckles before beginning the 2019-20 application processing season. With the October 1 release of the FAFSA coming soon, the Department of Education on Monday announced the posting of the 2019-2020 Summary of Changes for the Application Processing System Guide. Changes include an increase in the income threshold for automatic zero EFC from $25,000 to $26,000 for the 2019-20 award year. Other changes, such as the FAFSA redesign, are updates that you may have already heard about, but it is helpful to have it all the changes in one handy guide. Fortunately, there are not a lot of changes this year, but like most years in the financial aid industry, we can expect a few surprises along the way - hopefully all good ones. In any case, it is good to plan on take a few deep breaths and keep the guide handy as we begin a new application processing season. | ||||||||||||||||
