Making financial aid a mobile experience

Want financial aid for college?

Now, there's an app for that.

If you or your students are early adopters of technology, you might want to try out the beta version of Federal Student Aid's official mobile app: myStudentAid.

The mobile app features the myFAFSA component, which can be used to complete the FAFSA form, making it easier for you to help students and parents apply for federal student aid via a mobile device.

The mobile app currently has the 2018-19 FAFSA form available; and in October, it will offer the 2019-20 FAFSA form. Just a note: to renew the 2018-19 FAFSA or to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool, students will need to complete the FAFSA form online at fafsa.gov (rather than using the app).

For more information about the myStudentAid mobile app, visit FinancialAidToolkit.ed.gov/tk/announcement-detail.jsp?id=fafsa-mobile-options.
