Thanksgiving week operating hours for Mapping Your Future and Department of Education

By Catherine Mueller

November 14, 2018

Although the holiday decorations have been up in the stores for a while, the holiday season does not officially kick off until next week with the Thanksgiving holiday.

In addition to the opportunity to express our gratitude, the Thanksgiving holiday also gives many people a break from normal working hours (unless you work in retail and then your work hours will be anything but normal!)

We hope you will get a break from financial aid processing next week but just in case, take note of these hours:

Mapping Your Future Hours

Mapping Your Future will be closed on Thanksgiving and will have limited availability on Wednesday, November 21 and Friday, November 23. Students and parents, as well as financial aid professionals, can contact Mapping Your Future via email at feedback@mappingyourfuture.org or our toll-free number 1-800-374-4072 during the Thanksgiving weekend.

Department of Education Hours

The Department of Education federal offices as well as Title IV processors and contact centers will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. In addition, some of the Title IV processors and contact centers will have additional closures. Refer to this Federal Student Aid document for more information.
