Although the main purpose of the site is to provide information about careers, CareerOneStop also offers scholarship information to help with funding the education needed for a chosen career.
CareerOneStop, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a site that provides resources for career exploration, training, and jobs. In addition, the site offers Scholarship Finder, a searchable list of more than 8,000 scholarships, fellowships, grants, and other financial aid award opportunities.
According to the site, visitors can:
- Look through the list of scholarships, arranged in order of closest deadline.
- Narrow the list with "Search by keyword." Enter a keyword about the type of award being sought.
- Use the filters to see only awards for certain award types, locations, level of study, and more.
No registration is required to use the site’s scholarship information.
