Scholarship application webinar materials, recordings available

When it comes to applying for scholarships, students may be overwhelmed, not sure where to look, or feel it's not worth the effort. However, even a small scholarship could mean the difference between a student being able to continue postsecondary education or having to withdraw.
To provide insight on completing scholarship applications, two webinars were recently held:
- "7 strategies for helping your students make the most of scholarship applications" was for college access and financial aid professionals and high school counselors and educators. The presentation handout is available at mappingyourfuture.org/Downloads/7StrategiesForHelpingYourStudents-MYF.pdf
- "7 strategies for making the most of scholarship applications" was for high school and college students and parents. The presentation handout is available at mappingyourfuture.org/downloads/7StrategiesForMakingTheMostOfScholarshipApplications.pdf.
A new Scholarship Tracking Worksheet was made available to webinar participants. The worksheet helps students track scholarship applications being completed, scholarships received, and comparing the cost of attendance and aid packages between schools.
