Financial aid professionals who routinely go the Information for Financial Aid Professionals website to research regulations, review updates, or find training will have that routine shaken up somewhat with the launch of a new website later this month. However, the Department of Education is providing training to help prepare for the new website.

In a March 11 Dear Colleague Letter (DCL), the Department of Education announced training to help financial aid professional and other understand and navigate the new FSA Partner Connect website – at fsapartners.ed.gov – when it debuts on March 28. FSA Partner is a new portal for institutional and financial organizations that work with the Department of Education. The Department will offer live webinars beginning the week of March 22, with other resources available now.

The DCL provides details on the training, which includes the live webinars, webinar recordings, tutorials, and other job aids. Frequently asked questions (FAQs) are available on the FSA Partner Connect Information page on the IFAP website. According to the Department, this information page is a centralized location for communications and training information specifically about FSA Partner Connect.

For questions about the training, contact the Department of Education at helpdesk.fsatraining@ed.gov.
