Understanding taxes webinar scheduled

Financial aid is in the midst of some of the most dramatic changes in the industry in decades.

Those financial aid professionals with a good understanding of the basics will likely best be able to manage these changes. And, of course, one of those basics is being able to review and understand income tax returns.

To help financial aid professionals with that understanding and to update current knowledge, Carolyn Thomas of Thomas & Associates, CPAs, LLC will provide important information and guidance about what you should know when looking at tax returns and tax transcripts, such as understanding who should file returns, the various tax filing statuses, and other important guidelines about earned and unearned income. Educational tax benefits will also be discussed.
